Northern Leg first walked in 1949, so 2024 will be our 75th anniversary.
To celebrate this milestone we’re organising a reunion, open to everyone on Pilgrim Cross, and everyone who has hosted us at any point across our 75 years.
Dates: Friday 10th – Sunday 12th May
Where: Sacred Heart Church in Nottingham
There will be a programme of events across the weekend, we would love everyone to come to all of it, but we understand that some people will prefer to only come to a part.
Traditional pilgrimage “floor” accommodation is available at the church for anyone who wants it. But you are of course free to sort your own accommodation, stay with friends in Nottingham, or just come for the day on the Saturday.

Friday 10th
Arrivals from 5.00pm onwards
7.30pm: Food
then a trip to a local pub.
Saturday 11th
8.30am: Breakfast
10.30am: Walk
12.30pm: Lunch
2.00pm: Ecumenical Liturgy
3.30pm: Organised Fun
5.30pm: Big Group Photo
6.00pm: Food, then evening party.
Sunday 12th
8.30am: Breakfast
10.15am: Parish Mass (roman catholic)
12.00noon: Lunch in a local pub
Over the weekend practical help will be needed with catering, washing up, moving stuff, and undoubtedly other activities.
We are asking everyone attending to make a financial donation according to their means, nearer the time we will be able to give a sense of the overall cost of the weekend and therefore an idea of what a reasonable donation might be.
